about

"Master Jet the Destroyer aka Joe Deal/Acid Quiff/Art Brunell/The Conformist renders broken, acid soundscapes for a new cassette for the Kitchen Dweller label. With experimental zeal, the Master rides beats off into the cosmos, accelerating with delirious speed across forty minutes of mildly chaotic acid techno madness"

BLEEP

"It's like sliding inbetween gears a the acid saloon while trying to hold in a large one from the past (SCREAM AND TWIST), A must have for further exploration into the future of sound and future feelings.

Once there is nothing else to listen to and we, on Planet Earth have taken for granted and dried up every sort of feeling and emotion through Art, there will be MASTER JET / ACID QUIFF at our beck and call"

SFV ACID

"This tape comes housed in a chunky video style box which makes it look like a weird old computer game, and on the cassette itself we’ve got further weirdness from Master Jet the Destroyer (aka Joe Deal aka Acid Quiff/Art Brunell/The Conformist), rendering broken, twitchy acid soundscapes in glorious analogue; pings and bleeps and rumbles, chopped-up chirrups and wibbly drones.

In places it’s pretty experimental, freeform dystopian flotsam, while elsewhere Deal rides the beat for something more focused and danceable (yet still mildly chaotic and broken-sounding, slightly Hacker Farm-ish at times), with cosmic acid techno madness and slow-stomping giant robot grooves vying for your attention in amongst the mind-warping scrambled weirdness. There’s 40 minutes of it, which for this price seems like a real bargain. Get it while it’s here! Volume Two to follow, apparently"
